Origin Story

Though not as well known as other African coffee producers, Burundi boasts a rapidly growing specialty coffee scene. Bavyeyi (translated "parents") is the coffee sprouted from the passion of Jeanine Niyonzima-Aroian. As the region with the longest drying period of any coffee worldwide, the Ngozi region can dry their natural coffees up to 20-30 days with a noticeably balanced and crisp cup profile.
